Today I attended a Christmas party, thrown by a very well know tour agent in KL. If you don't already know, I am the Director of Sales & Marketing of a popular hotel in Kuala Lumpur. To be frankly honest, attending parties like this has become part of my job. However, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself this time.
It's indeed funny how time flies! Rewind about 7 years ago when I must got invited to this very party. At that time, I felt so out of place because I did not know anyone. Tonight, I knew almost everyone and the atmosphere was really good! Before I knew it, it was already time to leave.
This party is an annual affair and it is done in conjunction with Christmas. Strange as it may seem, I do not feel Christmas in the air at all this year! I guess I’ve simply been too caught up with my work to actually think of Christmas. Plus, without my mum, dad and the rest of my siblings, Christmas simply is not the same. More on this later!
